Indiana Fever Announce New Head Coach and Additions to Coaching Staff
Christie Sides Appointed as Ninth Head Coach
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever have made significant additions to their coaching staff for the upcoming 2023 season. The team has named Christie Sides as the ninth head coach in franchise history. Additionally, two new assistant coaches have been hired to assist Sides in leading the team.
Assistant Coaching Appointments
Joining Sides' coaching staff are two experienced basketball professionals. Felisha Legette-Jack, who spent the past two seasons at Syracuse University, has been hired as an assistant coach. Legette-Jack brings a wealth of coaching experience to the Fever, having previously led the Hofstra University and Syracuse teams.
The second assistant coaching position will be filled by Steve Smith, who joins the Fever after serving as an assistant coach for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. Smith brings a strong understanding of player development and has experience coaching at both the collegiate and professional levels.
